How to Achieve Success in the Entertainment Industry Despite Constant Rejection

5 of 10

  1. Don’t be difficult.
No one in the Entertainment Industry wants to work with someone who is difficult. For starters, if you are difficult on a job, you won’t be hired again. Remember, there is always someone more beautiful, talented, skinnier, taller and younger than you. And as special as you are, you are replaceable on set if you cause problems.
Have respect for yourself and those around you by showing up on time or early, know your lines, have a pleasant and positive attitude and are professional at all times. Remember, you are being hired for a job, even if it seems like fun.
Treat it with responsibility and you will garner the respect of your co-workers around you.
