Asheville, NC is becoming more hip by the minute. This city is an art-lover’s dream with old brick-buildings placed in between brightly colored facades. The food is delicious and vegan-friendly at most places, and there is no lack of things to see and do. Plus, it’s also well known for being a haunted location, so many paranormal lovers visit Asheville hoping to see a ghost! All of that aside, whatever brings you to Asheville, we encourage you to spend the night at the Windsor Boutique Hotel, a true treasure in Asheville, North Carolina.
We found the Windsor Boutique Hotel to be so much more than your average hotel. It was the perfect place for someone to live in and enjoy Asheville for an extended period of time. Being experienced in the industry, we saw it as the perfect place for a film crew or talent working on a film to stay at, as there is a fully functioning kitchen complete with dishes and a laundry room complete with a washer, dryer, and laundry soap. What an incredible location!
As you enter the Windsor, right away the lobby is warm, welcoming, and artistically striking. I felt a strong appreciation for the décor, and there was hand sanitizer and umbrellas laid out to provide guests with immediate comfort. The building is locked after dark with key code access so you are left feeling safe during your stay. It was a perfect mix of modern and historic, combining modern art with the beauty of the old wooden floors and brick walls of this structure.
The King suite that we stayed in was the absolute perfect fit for us. It was very spacious with a kitchen that was fully-stocked with utensils and cookware and a common space that was perfect for working in and dumping footage.
The bedroom was cozy and beautiful. It had old brick walls yet was accented with modern design, making the perfect mix of décor. The bed was perfectly cozy, and there was a large space to hold clothing and laundry. Believe it or not, there was a laundry room in the bedroom! Since we were driving around North Carolina during our stay and going to many outdoor locations, this laundry room was much-needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.
Anyone could easily appreciate the beauty and comfort of the Windsor Boutique Hotel, however, I saw it as the perfect spot for art lovers, too. The unique style was something I’ve never seen before at any hotel. And the view of all the artistic boutiques and locations nearby was stunning.
I’m not sure when I’ll be in Asheville next, but I am absolutely looking forward to another stay at the Windsor Boutique Hotel. After this trip, it is truly one of my favorite hotels.
