E Juice That Doesn’t Gunk Up Coils

Coil gunk is the most popular term to use in e juice vaporizers. It is necessary to change it regularly, especially when it looks dark. If it changes into the dark, you will immediately notice the taste of e-juice turns different and bad.

This all happens for taking sweet and sticky e-liquid for a long time. Sometimes those items are not entirely out through the coil during vaping, resulting in a dark coil. It often changes the color of the e-juice. Its crust layers may stop the real test of the flavor.

It’s quite true that the coil doesn’t last forever. But it can if you use it wisely. This is the main reason the coil gunk becomes an annoying and problematic part for e-smokers. Let’s talk about the rest of the things.

Reasons for your coils become gunky?

Sweeteners: As we know, creamy and sweeteners are not easily valorized. Sweeteners contain sugar and carbohydrates; those ingredients are not vaporized properly through the coil. Sweet things also have artificial ingredients like sugar, syrup, heavy- cream. As a result, the coil heats up and burns. That causes a bad and burning taste. For making the e-liquid sweetener Erythritol, dessert and fruit flavors are used mostly. Non-sweetened causes less coil gunk than the sweetened e-juice.

Dark e-liquids: Dark e-liquids are most easier to gunk the coil than any other color. As it is dark and mostly used as a sweetener. The second is that dark colors are heavier than others because of containing many ingredients. If you want to avoid the gunky, use another source of color.

Higher e-liquid VG: VG is also known as vegetable glycerin. Most of the vapors say that high contain VG in e-liquid creates more coil gunk. This type of e-juice is thicker and produces clogging. PG also is known for propylene glycol. The PG e-liquid is created with less coil gunk. On the other hand low, VG e-juice provides you a dry hit.

To avoid the coil gunk problems, you can try 50/50 use of VG/PG.

Chain vaping: If a vapor takes multiple puffs within a tiny break (five to ten seconds), it causes coil gunk. This process is not a good sign because of soaking-up enough e juice before the next hit. Vaping too frequently has proven damage records.

Take long draws continuously, turn your wick dry out. With this process, you can easily break your wick.

You can use chain vaping when you use RBA. Because the coil can vaporize it quickly before the liquid travels fast.

Many vapor love chain vaping who love strong nicotine hits. If you want it to stay strong, just avoid it.

Flavored e-liquid: We found that those e-juice are quickly burned. Comparing both flavor and non-flavor, you will find flavors are easily gunking. You can try this process by yourself. If you use the same coil, you can use it five times more than flavor e-juice. This will realize the importance of non-flavor e-juice.

Although most people love flavored e-juice, only if you don’t like to change the coil frequently, you can take non-flavor.

Follow the Process to prevent a burnt coil:

Liquid cleaning:

To clean the coil easily, you can use the liquid. First, try to separate the coil and wick, then just drop this into hot water. Within a few minutes, you will notice that gunk has fallen from the coil. The coil will be soft and rub the coil with a brush to make it fully clean in a short time.

You can also use alcohol instead of regular water. Because alcohol helps to clean coil gunk deeply, this is recommended by most users. You can also use soda to clean it properly. But we can say alcohol is the best solution.

Change the Material

If you are not taking a proper break between your two buffs (recommended 20 seconds), you have to go for other coil material. Cotton is great to use, but in high temperatures, it doesn’t give you the real kick.

If you want High wattage vapor, try to use the wick material. Silica or ceramic is known as great materials. Those are easily tolerated in high heat without burning.

Dry burn:

To eliminate coil gunk, this is a perfect way to apply. All you have to do, just press the fire button and remain patient until it turns dry. During this process, you can see the coil burns not to happen anymore. After that, you just notice a little bit of dark carbon is left and the gunk all goes.  ‘

When the process is complete, there will be a dark layer left. Use a wet swab or a brush and clean it just by rubbing.

We hope you already know the process, what you have to do and what not to do.
