I have been holding out on you and I am sorry. This holiday burger, you guys. It tastes like the essence of the winter holidays distilled into a singular vegan burger experience. I discovered it right before thanksgiving and it was too late to get it on to the blog. I have been searching for the perfect holiday main dish for a long time and have never been totally satisfied until now. The things that I tried have been either too 1970s vegetarian or not festive enough or just too brown. But this, this is it y'all. The roasted chickpea pumpkin and sage burger with cranberry ginger sauce. Merry effing Christmas. ✨🎄✨ * * * #vegan #feedfeeed @thefeedfeed #thekitchn #mindbodygram #iamwellandgood #buzzfeast #tastingtable #f52grams #huffposttaste #yahoofood #lifeandthyme #thatsdarling #howyouglow #veganchristmas

The amazing lunch I had at @particlecafe on Sunday! 🤤 Jackfruit tacos, apple and raspberry bread stack, and a delishhh Mexican nacho bowl 👏🏼 served with a matcha latte, and a chai latte too of course 🙈 I also got to try their pink latte (a mix of beetroot, turmeric and orange with cashew milk) and their signature cinnamon tea! ♥️ I can't believe how many times I've been to Melbourne and this weekend was the first time I had heard of Particle! It is 100% vegan, gluten free and refined sugar free, and the food was next level 👅 I was so impressed with this place, too often I find cafes and restaurants creating average/sub-par dishes just to cash in on the popularity of veganism… and whilst it is great that this means us vegans can eat at heaps of different places, it also means that non-vegans are being exposed to very mediocre vegan food! This was definitely not one of those places 🐷🌿 seriously appreciate people who go to the effort of putting amazing and unique vegan meals on their menu!

We've got a heat wave goin' over here so I've got my belly free pretty much all day around the house😂. But this refreshing, cold and healthy pregnancy elixir helps cool me down! 🌿🍌If you know me, you know I'm all about the green smoothies, whether pregnant or not. I tend to have aversions to them in the first trimester though, but I'm getting back into them now! This one is ripe spotty bananas, 1 lilikoi (passionfruit) from our garden, mango/frozen organic mango, 2 tsp soaked chia seeds, 1 tsp hemp seeds and 2 tbsp barley grass juice powder + water blended smooth. Sandy and Elvis came running in just before this with flowers covered in ants🐜for my hair so I'm all kinds of tropical vibes right now ⚡️🌸🌺👶🏼 #3rdveganpregnancy

If I were to inspire you to do one thing in your life, I hope it would be for you to be more conscious of what you put in your body. Eat more colorful fruits and vegetables and harm less animals, get active and stop complaining, read more and watch less TV, meditate more instead of focusing on your anxiety, spend less time on your phone and more time in nature, believe in yourself instead of putting yourself down constantly, and practice love instead of fear. These aren’t easy tasks. They take time and dedication. However, I believe the time invested in making ourselves into better humans is well worth it. Make it a lifestyle.
