Sofia, why did you leave modeling behind? Many girls can only dream about working with such a prestigious modeling agency as Elite.
It wasn’t so much me leaving modeling behind as it was following the steps I had planned for myself. I wanted to model so as to familiarize and be totally at ease with cameras. Models have to learn to love the camera, as do actors. Being at Elite was an amazing experience, but what I wanted in the end was to just go out and do photo shoots till all my nerves and jitters were just a thing of the past. I was ridiculously shy starting out, so I had to nip that in the bud before beginning anything.
Do you miss it?
Funny enough, I never do. You can have many hobbies, granted, but you can only have one love. Acting provides that for me. I always say that I would never be deathly exhausted doing anything else .¨ that’s when you know you’ve found your life’s passion.
