The Coconut Berry Glamarita brings a charming twist to the classic margarita. Like a beautiful woman, the Coconut Berry Glamirita combines a bit of sweetness and tart, mingling coconut with lemons and lime.
You will need:
2 ounces Grand Marnier
1 ¬Ω ounces silver tequila
1 ounce lime juice
1 ounce lemon juice
2 ounces raw coconut water (we suggest Harmless Harvest)
2 ounces cream de coconut
2 ounces of strawberry syrup
2 tablespoons sweetened coconut flakes
1 tablespoon margarita salt
Fresh lime and strawberries for garnish
FOR THE GLASS RIM
Combine the sweetened coconut flakes with margarita salt. Rim the edge of the glass with a lime wedge. Dip the rim of the glass in coconut and salt mixture.
Rimming the glass with honey, dipping it into the coconut and salt mixture, then into the freezer prior to filling the glass is another option. We find the coconut sticks better with honey. Either way works.
FOR THE GLAMARITA
Fill your glass with ice cubes or crushed ice. In a cocktail shaker combine tequila, Grand Marnier, strawberry syrup, lime juice, lemon juice, coconut water, and cream de coconut. Shake for approximately 60 seconds. Pour over ice.
Finally, garnish with lime and strawberries. Enjoy!
