GIRLBOSS

You have an alternative website, Lovestyle, you started your own fitness journal, and you run a YouTube channel. You’re a multi-faceted entrepreneur at a very young age. How has it affected your friendships? Have you lost many friendships? Have they changed?

I always say that I was Way of Gray before I was Way of Gray. When I was 14, I’d always struggle with friendships; people have never really understood me. I never really understood myself either. I feel like I was designed to be this person. I definitely suffer with relationships. Even with my family, my mom really worries about me that I’m separating myself; it makes me different. Friendships aren’t really on my radar. I’ve never really excelled at friendships. I love meeting with people and I think also now about learning to be more social, but those are taught skills. I’m hard on myself but I think it’s something I’m learning to deal with. Some people aren’t comfortable with it, some people are, and those are the people I should be spending my time with anyway.

As a young entrepreneur and Girlboss, do you ever have FOMO? If so, how do you handle it?

No. It’s a big struggle for my parents but I’m setting myself up for the life that I’m always going to live. It’s taken a long time for me to accept that and be OK. I still feel guilty. I don’t drink. My boyfriend pulls me out of my shell but other than that I’m all good.

Where do you hope to take your career in the next few years?

I want self-love to be a main component. I have a couple of goals. I want to offer my workout programs for free. I’m about to do clothing and jewelry. I want to do more talks and workshops.
