Now that Thanksgiving is over, holiday lights are popping up left and right. Once the sun goes down, lights pop up in your neighbor’s yard, in your outdoor shopping malls, and now even in the famous L.A. Zoo. While the zoo closes at 5pm and the animals are falling asleep in their resting areas, the zoo opens up again from 6pm to 10pm for the L.A. Zoo Lights.
While the majority of the animals are asleep, you can still enjoy the reptile house, a.k.a. The Lair, and see live reindeer. Tickets are $13 on weekdays and $16 on weekends. Late arrivals can get in for only $9 if they arrive at 9pm if they only want to enjoy an hour in the zoo.
