After giving the world amazing hits like “Black Magic” and “Touch”, Little Mix is venturing in a new area: a makeup line!
With the launch of LMX by Little Mix, the girl group is joining other celebs such as Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Drew Barrymore, Kat Von D, Jessica Alba, Victoria Beckham, Tyra Banks, and Lindsay Lohan, who also have their own cosmetics brand.
As Cosmopolitan UK reported, the British music stars made the announcement via social media, of course, in a July 2 Instagram post. The video shows members Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock trying out different products including eyeshadow, high-gloss lippies, and luxurious brushes.
“We wanted you to be the first to hear about something we’ve been working so hard on…introducing LMX by Little Mix and our first ever limited edition cosmetics range. Coming September 2018 to @bootsuk,” wrote the ladies in the caption.
This special line is perfect for those women that dreamt about recreating Jesy’s sexy smoky eyes, Leigh-Anne’s amazing cat eye, Perrie’s blush, and Jade’s glittery lips. According to the press release: “Years of experimenting with different looks means the girls really know their cosmetics and their collection makes no compromises, with high-performance, heavily-pigmented formulations that suit every skin tone, unbelievable highlighters, velvety matte lips, and high-impact colours.”
LMX by Little Mix is being developed alongside manufacturers SLG who are also in charge of creating beauty products for Zoella Beauty and Tanya Burr Cosmetics.
The only downside for the group’s worldwide fans is that LMX by Little Mix is going to launch in Boots and selected retailers in September, but only available in the UK. So, if you’re thinking about taking a trip to London, there’s a stop that you must add to your itinerary or do like so many other fans and head directly to Little Mix comments and join their clamor for a global launch.
