2. Mount Rushmore

3. Hot Air Balloon Ride
There’s no better way to see South Dakota than to do it from the air, which means taking a hot air balloon ride might be the way to do it. We recommend checking on the flights that are offered in the area and selecting one that happens during the sunrise.
There’s something about seeing South Dakota during the golden hour and taking pictures that you can take home and show everyone when you get back. The one thing to remember is when you take this type of ride you’re going to need to set aside a few hours to do so as most last between two and three hours.
