Katarina’s Cruelty-Free Picks of 2019

The vegan lifestyle is pretty much taking over the world. Plant-based living is not only good for people, but it’s also good for animals and the environment. With times changing so quickly, it’s getting harder and harder to find brands that aren’t cruelty-free, as well. With so many new brands launching every week, it’s hard to keep up with all the fabulous products.

Here are ten of my favorite cruelty-free products that I have chosen to feature this year.

Blushing in Bali by BH Cosmetics, $16

I love this palette by BH Cosmetics because it is inspired by exotic islands. It’s a great palette to use to create a natural flush to your cheeks and your face.

FACEatelier Ultra Foundation Pro, $36

The FACEatelier Ultra Foundation Pro is one of my favorites because it doesn’t need a primer- the primer is built into the foundation. And, it’s sophisticated, long-lasting, and comes in the perfect shade for any skin tone.

Bianca Synthetic Eyelashes by Scott Barnes, $18

I am in love with the Bianca Synthetic Eyelashes by Scott Barnes. I usually don’t like synthetic materials in false eyelashes because the bands become too thick, but these ultra-glam synthetic lashes don’t have that problem. They are pretty, feminine, and fluffy.

Tru-Green Organics Cocoa & Shea Body & Face Butter, $50

This is still a favorite here at VIVA GLAM Magazine after years of us using it for ourselves and during photoshoots, and I highly recommend it. It has no chemicals or preservatives, and it is cold-pressed.

Bali Body Shimmering Body Oil, $30

This luxe, hydrating body oil has a hint of bronze color to help you shine like it’s summer all year long. It is fast-drying, lightweight, and provides a natural-looking bronze sheen.

vegaLASH Volumizing Mascara by Vegamour, $25

The formula of this mascara contains ingredients that naturally curl and lift your lashes. It’s a favorite of mine because the mascara is infused with a serum that helps to create longer, fuller lashes long after you wear it. And, of course, it’s vegan and cruelty-free!

Dream Big Volume Volumizing Super Powder by Marc Anthony True Professionals, $10

This product lifts your roots to help give your hair extreme texture and fullness, and its results happen instantaneously. I love it because the formula is super lightweight and long-lasting.

Starlight Highlighter by Makeup Geek, $20

The super-smooth and highly pigmented formula of the Starlight Highlighter is what makes it such a great highlighter and a favorite of mine.

emerginC Peach Toner, $31

I like this product because it contains chamomile, which is known to heal skin inflammation. It is a light, fresh toner that gently soothes and tones skin.
