Rock Concert
It’s time to rock out with this guy you are excited to get to know! If your music sensibilities are similar, why not enjoy a concert together? At a show, anything goes within reason. Just remember to stay classy and not trashy. Vegan leather leggings, boots, a vintage headband, embellished vests, and darker eye makeup are appropriate here. If you are outside, it might get colder later in the evening. A vegan leather jacket is ideal as well! Have fun, be creative, and enjoy listening to your favorite band with him!
Theme Parks
Everyone loves going to a theme park! Just remember this is probably going to be a long date and you will be outside for most of the day. Pay attention to the weather forecast for that day and dress accordingly. This is a date where sneakers or flats are appropriate. Hobbling in high heels at a theme park or zoo is not cute. Prepare and understand what you are getting yourself into. If you absolutely must wear some type of heel, wear a wedge sneaker that gives you a bit of height and is still comfortable. Remember, you might be on your feet, outside, for up to 12 hours on this date!
Country Club
You might be meeting his parents on this type of date. Even if you are not, pay attention to the strict dress codes some country clubs may have. For example, if you are playing golf, did you know that some courses do not allow shorts on women, cargo pants, cargo shorts, shirts not tucked in or open toed shoes? Here, you should err on the side of caution and dress more conservatively. Your makeup should not be flashy and your nails should be short and either nude or bare in color. Gloves, hats, and classy heels are always welcome. Also, keep jewelry to a minimum here; no bling bling!
