Kombucha Ingredients

As mentioned above, kombucha contains a sweetener. However, you can’t use all kinds of sweeteners. For instance, you won’t be able to create kombucha tea if you use stevia. The reason is that stevia doesn’t contain any sugar. Remember, you need sugar so that the beneficial bacteria can flourish. So, if you use stevia to make kombucha, you won’t be able to make probiotics. You can, however, use stevia to sweeten your kombucha drink once it has already been created.
