McDonald’s vegan hamburger is a success in Sweden and Finland!
Recently, we told you about fast food giant, McDonald’s, testing a new burger. The McVegan burger is an alternative to traditional burgers that are made with beef. McDonald’s did a trial run in Finland and it was a huge success!
In fact, the trial run was so successful that McDonald’s has announced it will be adding the McVegan burger to its permanent menu! This burger will be added permanently in Finland and Sweden, so far. However, vegans and vegetarians are hoping it will be added to the menus throughout the rest of Europe, the United States, and other parts of the world soon.
The McVegan burger will become a part of the regular menu at McDonald’s on December 28th.
McDonald’s went through over 100 recipes to create the ideal burger. It is soy-based, vegan, and is offered for approximately $5.80 which is reasonable in price.
So, for those of you who have been avoiding McDonald’s because there wasn’t anything on the menu for you to eat, now there is a reason to go! We hope the McVegan burger will be coming to the United States and other parts of the world soon! Until then, vegans and vegetarians in Sweden and Finland can enjoy a juicy hamburger and fries at McDonald’s! We are also hoping that other fast food companies will follow Mc Donald’s lead and create vegan and vegetarian options on their menus.
We’re just “lovin’ it”!
