This year, each nominee received approximately $ 100,000 in items that conveniently fit in a handbag. These (small) gifts include: extravagant trips, whose destinations include Tanzania, Hawaii or Greece, 24k gold facials, a free dental procedure for gum rejuvenation, multiple sessions with a celebrity trainer, a diamond necklace, an 18-minute phobia relief session, and so much more. Of course, there were also some simpler gifts that complemented the opulent ones.
But if you thought that the value of this bag is way too exorbitant, this is nothing compared to the previous year. Last year, the amount went up to $260,000, and had everything, from a week-long vacation in Italy, to organic maple syrup and, of course, sophisticated beauty treatments. It’s enough to make up for being just a nominee and not a winner!
