4. Murphy Ranch Trail
Murphy Ranch Trail is a 3.4 mile in-and-out hike located in the Pacific Palisades. There are abandoned stables and a forgotten power house to be found on this trail, which makes it perfect for those who love urban exploring and adventuring to the ruins of old buildings. Plus, it was built by Nazi sympathizers during World War II, which makes its history very strange. The beginning of this trail is extremely open, forcing you into the sun’s harsh rays, so it’s much better to hike in the fall days where the sun is more forgiving.
