Be summer ready with Lele Sadoughi accessories
Lele Sadoughi is no beginner in the world of fashion. Her sunglasses, handbags, belts and other products have been available across the country in some of the biggest retailers for the past 20 years. Her summer accessories are to die for, and for this season, she added some fun headbands, glasses and other “jewels” to her collection.
What I personally love about Lele’s style is that her creations are ultra-feminine and classy. Do you remember my quote from some of our VIVA GLAM issues? “Classy and Fabulous, always be Glamorous!” Well, I relate to Lele’s vision of a woman who is not afraid to stand out and embraces her femininity. I’m not a minimalist, and I like more complex styling that requires putting some effort in, so Lele Sadoughi accessories really excite me.
If you are looking for those fun, cat-eye pink sunglasses for the summer, she has them! If you are looking for a classier version of the traditional hoops, she has those, too! But so you don’t get overwhelmed, I have gone through her collections while sitting at home during the quarantine and selected some of my favorite pieces that you might adore as much as I do.
PINK TAFFY UPTOWN CAT-EYES SUNGLASSES
While I’m obsessed with her “Blush Chelsea Pearl Cat-eye Sunglasses” which you can see in the header photo, I also love her new “Pink Taffy Uptown Cat-eye Sunglasses” which are made from hand-swirled acetate. These sunglasses, with a 100% UVA/UVB protection, are fun and will look great with your white pants and handbag when you hit the beaches of St. Tropez.
RAPUNZEL SUNGLASS CHAIN
This 26″ long chain link, made with golden lobster clasps at each end and a detachable golden hook, is made to fit “LS” sunglasses. It also has a detachable clear rubber loop to fit any pair of glasses. This chain is embellished with hand-swirled acetate flowers and leaves. You can even use it as a necklace or hair accessory while vacationing in the beautiful Capri.
CRYSTAL AND PEARL KNOT HOOP
There is something about hoops. Circle shapes, in general, have a very positive effect on people, and hoops have been a timeless style of earrings for many decades. These hoops give you a very elegant and gorgeous look because of the white pearls and crystals. Just imagine wearing them with your new tan peaking out from your off-the-shoulder tight outfit during a sunset in Positano.
BLACK CRYSTAL HEADBAND
Look like a modern Italian woman with this gorgeous black velvet, hand-knotted headband. This 1-inch wide piece is embellished with crystals in 14k gold plated bezel settings. It looks great when you wear black with it; just check out #leleheadbands on Instagram for some inspiration. What I love about “LS” headbands, in general, is that for the “leather styles”, she uses faux leather.
CRYSTAL RUCHED BELT
While we’re talking about the BLACK CRYSTAL HEADBAND, you might also want to consider getting a matching belt. The belt is stretchy and designed to fit sizes 0-28. And me being partly Czech, I love that the belt is embellished with 14k gold-plated studs and bezel set Czech crystals with 14k gold-plated brass interlocking clasp closure. Now, with your headband and matching belt, you’re ready for a Bellini at the terrace of the Hotel du Cap.
While we are not able to travel yet, it is good to shift our minds from watching the daily news about the tragic impact of the coronavirus, so we keep our spirits up. It is healthy to daydream and work on our goals. It is important to surround ourselves with beautiful things that make us feel good. Start preparing now and create your vacation looks with some of these accessories. Nothing lasts forever, and soon we’ll be able to travel again.
