Stop Sucking Tits!

Cow tits that is…

HOW TO BE DAIRY FREE

Have you been thinking about becoming a vegan, but you just can’t imagine giving up cheese? Yeah. I felt the same way years ago.
But after studying all the diseases that can be prevented from eliminating animal mucus from my diet, I was determined to give non-dairy items a chance.
Afterall, cow milk is for baby cows! Yup; just like human breast milk is for human babies (and for kinky husbands…but I digress).

A lot of readers have asked me how to substitute dairy products for non-dairy alternatives.
There are a lot of options out there and I’ve sampled almost all of them over the years.
Here’s a list of some of my favorites. If I’m missing any good ones, please leave a comment below and let us know!

NON-DAIRY CHEESE

  • Daiya cheddar, mozzarella, or pepper jack cheese – gluten-free and soy-free, tastes and melts wonderfully
  • Follow Your Heart cheddar, mozzarella, monterey jack, or nacho cheese
  • Wayfare vegan cheese spread – great for putting on crackers and as a dip for vegetables
  • Trader Joe’s Soy Cheese Blend

NON-DAIRY BUTTER

  • Earth Balance buttery spread

NON-DAIRY CREAM CHEESE

  • Tofutti cream cheese
  • Trader Joe’s “This Is Not A Tub Of Cream Cheese”
  • Follow Your Heart cream cheese

NON-DAIRY SOUR CREAM

  • Follow Your Heart sour cream
  • Wayfare sour cream

NON-DAIRY MILK

  • Any brand of almond milk or soy milk. Rice milk is OK but it can be a bit thin. I prefer vanilla-flavored milks. Chocolate flavors are great for kids or for making hot cocoa.

NON-DAIRY ICE CREAM

  • So Delicious Purely Decadent frozen dessert – gluten-free and in various flavors. I recommend Cookie Avalanche!
  • Good Karma Organic Rice Divine – gluten-free and soy-free. I adore chocolate peanut butter fudge, carrot cake, and coconut mango.

NON-DAIRY SALAD DRESSING

  • Goddess salad dressing – tastes similar to Caesar dressing
  • Follow Your Heart brand – various creamy flavors of great vegan dressings.

VEGETARIAN BROTH

  • Edward & Sons Not-Chick’n broth – gluten-free
  • Edward & Sons Not-Beef broth – gluten-free

NON-DAIRY CREAMY SOUP

  • Imagine Foods Creamy Portobello Mushroom Soup
  • Imagine Foods Creamy Garden Broccoli
  • Amy’s Split Pea Soup

If you try a brand you don’t like, don’t give up. It doesn’t mean that you won’t find one you do like.
Just remember these alternatives are processed foods and should be eaten in moderation.
Fresh, raw, organic vegetation is best for staying healthy and fit.
You can also make your own cheese or sour cream out of cashew nuts, but I’ll save that lesson for a later post.
