A Spiritual Visionary, Danielle Hernandez

Danielle Hernandez is a personal trainer and nutritionist.

Occasionally, you have the pleasure of meeting a person and right away, knowing they are special. And such is the case with Danielle Hernandez, personal trainer, nutritionist, and spiritual visionary. With a clear understanding of the universe and her place in it, Danielle explains the constant ebb and flow of life.
Ever evolving, she believes how being true to the self is the only path to understanding our destiny, purpose, and place on this planet. While wearing many hats, she believes that everything she has done in life has prepared her for the journey she is currently embarking on. We spoke to Danielle about her foray into the entertainment industry and what the future holds for her.

Danielle, nutrition and fitness have always been important in your life. How did you originally become interested in healthy eating and exercise?

At an early age, after seeing a few loved ones with health issues, I learned that our bodies are our temples. It is entirely up to us what we feed our bodies and how we take care of them. During my college years, I took a nutrition class just for fun. It ended up becoming a huge passion of mine. I knew in that class that I had found something I completely related to, and I fell in love. From that point on, nutrition and learning about how food can be our medicine became my life.

You love to evolve in life and believe that nutrition and fitness have led you on a path to spirituality. What in your life indicated this and how did you know this was the path you were supposed to be on?

I have been very spiritual ever since I was in high school. These days, I hear the word “spiritual” all over the place. For me, being spiritual means having a very deep, soulful level of understanding of our bodies, our surroundings, and the universe that surrounds us – and that is inside of us. This is something that is always a work in progress for me. I realize that I am constantly evolving, constantly changing, as we all are. Some of us choose to accept change more than others. I realize that change is inevitable. The one thing that will always stay constant in a world that is always changing is how true we choose to be with ourselves.

One of the most important things to you is to be able to look back on your life without regrets. What dreams did you want to follow and why?

I believe that you can have many dreams. That’s the beauty of being human. We have the ability to try as many things as we want. I started out as a nutritionist/personal trainer for 8 years. I loved every second of it. I loved how I was able to transform lives and help people become their best. It was very rewarding for me. After 8 years, I knew it was time for a change. I decided to get into real estate. I learned not just how to sell houses but how to be a real businesswoman. I had amazing training, sold 9 houses in my first 6 months, learned how to negotiate on behalf of my clients and most importantly, helped my clients find their new home. It was also very rewarding, but I knew there was something more out there for me. After moving back up to Northern California last year, I knew it was time to listen to the burning desire that is deep within my soul. I have always loved being in front of the camera, being on stage, singing, and acting, and I knew in my heart that if I didn’t give it a shot then I would live with regret. One thing I can count on for myself is that I will not look back on my life and “wish” I had tried something. Life is too short to not go after your heart’s desire.
