On our way back to hotel, we saw a rainbow and decided to stop by the side of the road to shoot. We enjoy finding inspiration in random locations and choosing to shoot spontaneously. So it was no surprise or disappointment to our adventurous models when we later stopped again to shoot in the lush jungle. Thank goodness too, because this provided the perfect backdrop for our models Kimberly and Anna!
Our last day, was our scheduled free day and were able to experience the world famous Four Seasons Spa. We each received deep tissue massages that were so relaxing, I still dream about them. The Four Seasons was kind enough to give us a private swim and fish feeding in King’s Pond! There, we were introduced to a puffer fish named Meatball and a flounder named Pancake. They each performed impressive tricks and came up to greet us warmly. Just another moment we were reminded that all living creatures deserve kindness and respect.
That evening, we reminisced about our incredible time together. It was an all girl shoot without drama of any kind. Why? We believe in listening to and supporting each other. We choose to fortify friendships, not competition. And these friendships will last way beyond a trip to Hawaii. We were reminded that women building each other up will always help us all, not just one. These are the core beliefs of VIVA GLAM’S founder, Katarina Van Derham. And it is a lesson that we experienced with love, together on our beautiful trip to the beautiful island of Hawaii.
We stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel and Resort, where we were helped by the attentive staff. As a result, we were treated to a truly luxurious experience of what this great island has to offer.
