You always look gorgeous. How would you describe your sense of style?
I’d say bohemian chic. I like vintage pieces that create something special and different. Whenever I step out on the red carpet, I want to stand out and exemplify me and how I feel that day.
Do you have any favorite designers or do you prefer to go shopping at vintage stores and boutiques?
I think it’s a combination of both. I think it’s always good to have nice pieces, like a really great bag. But it’s nice to find those unique items that no one else has. My mom was a huge hippie and she has a closet that dreams are made of. I sometimes shop in there. Fashion is so artistic. You can find an amazing piece of clothing at Saks or Barneys but you can also find it at Goodwill.
(Dunne was actually taking this call while shopping at Planet Blue!)
What’s your go-to daytime makeup look or do you prefer to have a naked face if you’re not on set?
If I’m not on set, I try not to wear makeup. I love makeup but I have a love/hate relationship with it. There are times when I love to put it on and I take my time with it. Other times, I just want to roll out of bed and get to work.
What’s your go-to nighttime look when you’re having a girls’ night?
I’m all about flowy, low v-neck dresses with a lot of jewelry and gold. I’m into the cat eye situation. If you can draw a good cat eye, then [you’re set]-just add foundation and mascara.
We also know you’re a singer. Will you be releasing any music soon? Is anything in the works?
In the works [are] the perfect words [to describe it]. I’m still trying to figure out what I want my sound to be and how I want to go about it since I have such a strong musical theater background. I [need to do it] in the right way so it can showcase what I can do. I just want to do it right.
