Pumpkin Spice Fall Candles

Pumpkin spice is popular during autumn because it has an alluring smell that is perfect for the holiday season. The best part is that you can make this all-time favorite scented candle with following these steps:

Materials

  • 2 cups soy wax flakes
  • 1 candle wick
  • 1 crayon (orange)
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 Chopstick
  • 1 Wooden spoon
  • 1 Mason jar

Procedure

1. The first step in making a pumpkin spice candle is to melt the soy wax flakes. You can use a stovetop to melt the soy flake, but you have to make sure to use low heat and a non-stick pot. Additionally, you have to stir the soy wax as it melts. By stirring, you can prevent the wax from sticking to the pot.

2. To add color to your candle, you can use an orange crayon. To do this step, you can simply break the crayon into several pieces. Then, you can drop them into the soy wax mixture and stir.

3. To add fragrance to your DIY candle for fall, you can add the various spices into the mixture then stir. The color of the mixture may darken. If this occurs, you can drop another orange crayon into the mixture.

4. Afterward, the next step is to wrap the top of the wick around the chopstick, then you can place it over the mason jar. From there, drop the weighted bottom into the jar.

5. The next step is to pour the mixture into the jar. In doing this step, you should be careful. If the wick gets moved, you should re-center it. From there, the final step is to let the mixture harden. Afterward, you can cut the wick to shorten it.

All in all, these are the steps in making DIY candles for fall. As you can see, it is easy to do. As such, you can make your scented candles instead of buying them. That way, you can ensure that they are natural and don’t contain harmful chemicals.
