Part of staying motivating on your health and fitness program is by setting goals. If you have a goal to work towards you are more apt to reach it. One fun and easy way to see your goals right in front of you is by creating a vision board.
A vision board is a collection of magazine articles, newspaper clippings, and photos on a corkboard. These clippings reflect your wishes and desires. Would you like to have a fit bikini body? Or perhaps you want to run a marathon. Whatever your health and fitness goals is, portray it on the board. You can cut out your favorite image of a physique that inspires you to be in shape. You can also cut out motivational sayings that speak to you to help cheer you on. Collect as many images to help you dream out loud.
After you have completed your vision board, put it somewhere where you see it every day. Remind yourself that you can do it. Take a few moments every day to really look at what you created and give yourself a pep talk that you can achieve it. Even if it seems so far away, tell yourself it is reality.
With a little hard work and some time, you will reach your fitness goal before you know it!
