What products do your fans prefer to see you use?
Definitely drugstore [brands]. L’Oreal, even Too Faced which is a little more expensive but it’s high-quality and has beautiful packaging. They enjoy Benefit for the same reason.
What are your go-to brands?
I just started exploring into Josie Maran at Ulta. It’s amazing. Definitely one of my favorites. I use the Argan Milk. It’s so hydrating to the skin. That and the Clarisonic together.
What kind of product dominates your collection?
I think I have a lot of lipsticks and lip glosses. I have so many I don’t know what to do them. I just love them because a lip color can totally change your look and they’re easy.
Lauren Conrad was one of your original inspirations. Who are your current inspirations?
I look at other women now like Wendy Williams and Jennifer Lopez. I admire [Jennifer’s] work ethic and her confidence. Wendy Williams gives me the hope that it’s never too late to have a dream become a reality. She’s 51[-years-old] now and she’s doing it now!
Do you have any plans to expand your brand in any way or create your own beauty line?
That’s something I definitely want to do in the future. Drew Barrymore really inspired me because she has an amazing brand [called] Flower. I really love her brand. It’s made in the USA [and it’s] cruelty-free, affordable, and has great quality.
What have you learned about yourself or your fans by doing this book tour?
Just getting to know everybody that watches my videos, interacting with them, hearing their own stories, getting to see the faces, that’s been the most rewarding part for me. People that come to see me, we’ve really made a connection. They’re not just random people and I love that.
