Bragg’s Blue Caprita

With the arrival of summer, it’s time to start whipping up our favorite poolside cocktails. What better way to celebrate sunshine, blue skies, and fun near the water than to feature a rum-like spirit from Brazil called Cacha (kah-shah-sah)?

AniciaB, Hollywood’s quaintrelle and go-to entertaining expert, always has unique tricks up her sleeve when it comes to partying, so we asked her to share her favorite Cacha recipe. She came through with an easy to make signature cocktail recipe that will transport you and your guests to the sun soaked beaches of South America:

Bragg’s Blue Caprita

3 oz. Cacha

1 oz. Blue Cura

2 oz. lime juice

Ice cubes (crushed) for shaking

Rub the rim of a chilled martini or margarita glass with lime wedge and dip into sugar. Put crushed ice cubes in shaker with the Cachaca, Blue Curacao and lime juice. Shake well. Strain into prepared glass and decorate with lime twist.
