All You Need to Know About Lady Gaga’s Las Vegas Residency

Get ready, Little Monsters! Lady Gaga will debut her residency in Las Vegas starting Dec. 28 at the MGM Park Theater. The pop star will be in Sin City for her 27-show slate, according to a press release on Tuesday, August 7.

USA Today reports that the residency will be divided in two distinct acts that will showcase Gaga’s versatility as a performer: fans will be able to enjoy “Lady Gaga Enigma” and “Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano”.

The Enigma act will center on her lustrous career filled with chart-topping pop hits, while the Jazz & Piano show will include a bare-bones version of her original songs, covers, and general repertoire.

The singer/songwriter shared the big news on social media as well: “We’re creating a show unlike anything I’ve done before. It will be a celebration of all that is unique and different within us. The challenges of bravery can be overcome with creativity and courage that is grown out of adversity, love, and music.”

Back in December, Gaga made the official announcement of the two-year residency via Twitter, saying: “The rumors are true! … It’s been my lifelong dream to be a Las Vegas girl, I’m so overjoyed!” At that time, it was reported that Gaga would play 74 concerts in total, and her contract was worth $ 100 million, with Gaga earning more than $ 1 million per show. Lady Gaga’s latest album, “Joanne”, arrived in 2016.

Tickets will go on sale on August 13 at 10 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster and Lady Gaga’s official website. The pre-sale will start on August 8 for members of Lady Gaga’s Little Monsters fan community. A pre-sale for Citi cardholders begins on August 9, and one for members of MGM’s M Life Rewards program begins on August 11. Tickets starting at $77.90 go on sale to the general public Monday, Aug. 13, at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.

2018 is proving to be a great year for the “Bad Romance” singer since she will also be making the rounds thanks to her starring role in the buzzed-about new film “A Star Is Born,” directed by Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper. We can’t wait to see her live and on the big screen!
