Guanajuato
Guanajuato is a city in central Mexico made up of very narrow, winding roads. Because of the minerals found in the surrounding mountains, Guanajuato is a very populated city with numerous plazas and colonial-era mansions, churches, and historic buildings. Perhaps the most interesting part of this city is its infamous Mummy Museum which contains naturally mummified bodies found and dug up around the city. You will never see another mummy exhibit like this, containing mummified fetuses, murder victims, and more. It’s not for the weak of heart, but it is worth the visit.
