What Makes You Attracted to Your Man Just Might Surprise You

What exactly makes you attracted to the opposite sex?

You might not be aware of it, but there are many subtle factors that make you attracted to your mate. One of these factors is scent. A new study reveals that women are more naturally attracted to men who eat a lot of vegetables!

That’s right, women in a study conducted by a team at Macquarie University in Australia were more attracted to the body odor of men who ate vegetables than those who ate carbohydrates. Women were given the shirts worn by men who had just exercised and were asked to smell them. Then, they were asked to rate the attractiveness of how they smelled.

Men that ate a fruit and vegetable packed diet smelled better to women than those who ate a lot of carbohydrates. Scientists believe the way a person smells indicated how healthy they are. Therefore, it makes a difference on how desirable they are to the opposite sex.

In addition, the researchers noted that by eating a lot of fruits and vegetables, the subjects’ skin took on a hue of plant pigments. The colors found in plants (red, orange and yellow) were also seen as attractive by the women.

The end results showed the researchers men who ate lots of fruits and vegetables looked and smelled more attractive to the opposite sex.

Men who ate a lot of meat were said to have a more “intense” smell, but the smell was not considered to be bad. The men who ate carbohydrates were rated lowest when it came to positive body odor.

So, if you want to attract the opposite sex, don’t forget to fill your plate with lots of healthy fruits and veggies!
