How can you tell you are ovulating?
Believe it or not, many of us don’t actually know what ovulation is, more or less the signs of it. Ovulation is when an egg is released from your ovary. It is then pushed down the Fallopian tube. There it is ready to be fertilized. Each month on average one egg will mature in one ovary. It is then released by the ovary and travels down the Fallopian tube. Its goal is to meet sperm in the uterus.
The lining of the uterus is made ready for the fertilized egg by getting thicker. And if there is no conception, this uterine lining will be shed. This shedding of the uterine wall, blood plus the unfertilized egg we know as menstruation. Menstruation occurs approximately every 21 to 35 days on average. If you are trying to get pregnant and you don’t conceive, you will menstruate again the following month.
