Visiting as a Vegan/Vegetarian at Disneyland Resort During the Holidays!

2 of 4

WHAT TO EAT

If you are a vegan or vegetarian, don’t worry because there are tasty tidings all throughout the Festival of Holidays in Disney’s California Adventure. The marketplace kiosks offer multicultural holiday fare from around the world. Each of these treats are a culinary celebration from a different country — such as Germany, Mexico, and India — as they celebrate the spirit of the holidays.

Throughout the dozens of kiosks were an array of appetizers and light eats — some were classic holiday treats such as green bean and mushroom casserole with crispy onions, and sticky toffee pudding. This version had a brandied vanilla sauce and tasted like heaven!

One of the highlights of the marketplace was the Butternut Squash Almond Pakoras. When else can you enjoy an Indian specialty just feet away from Cars Land?

Many desserts were also available including spicy peanut brittle, warm pretzels with whole-grained Dijon mustard, and horchata fudge. Of course, you can also find a wide arrangement of Disney-themed cookies, rice krispie treats, popcorn, caramel apples, and fudge all around both parks.
