Turmeric Milk: Battle Bloat While You Sleep
Have you heard of turmeric milk? It’s super easy to make and SO good.
This is a great drink to have before bed as it aids in relaxation and helps boost the immune system while sleeping. It’s also great for when you’re craving chocolate or something after dinner.
For months, I have been drinking this before bedtime. I like to switch it up with my peppermint or chamomile tea.
What is turmeric milk?
Turmeric milk is a traditional Ayurvedic drink to boost your health and vitality. It has been around forever. Turmeric milk has been used heavily for colds, congestion, sore throats, and headaches. It is also a great depression fighter.
Turmeric has strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. I like to incorporate turmeric in my everyday diet. The taste alone can be pretty strong, but tastes fantastic with all of the following ingredients. You can also play around with the ingredients and adjust according to taste.

What is curcumin? Curcumin is the principle curcuminoid, a compound in turmeric that gives it its yellow color and is also responsible for the incredible health benefits.
Why add black pepper? It is beneficial to take black pepper with turmeric because it helps the body absorb turmeric.
This drink is seriously my favorite right now. It tastes delicious and has so many health benefits.
