Many of us work at a desk in an office setting for at least 8 hours a day. Sitting stationary for many hours can make you lethargic, tired and ultimately out of shape.
So it is extremely important for good health and posture to take short breaks every hour to stretch and move around. This only takes a few minutes and improves circulation, mental clarity and overall well-being. Sometimes your work overload can be so overwhelming that you feel as if you can’t even take 5 minutes. But believe me, this will help you on the whole during your workday. Getting a bit of fresh air and taking time to step outside and just breathe is vital as well.
