Start Off the New Year by Celebrating Veganuary!

January becomes Veganuary in 2018!

Did you know that one of the most popular trends last year was adapting a plant-based diet? That’s right, going vegetarian or vegan is a popular trend that is only getting stronger as more choose to eat a diet devoid of meat. And in celebration of this movement, Las Vegas will be celebrating in January 2018 by renaming this month to “Veganuary”!

There is an exploding vegan dining scene in Las Vegas. And “Vegans, Baby”, a guide to all things vegan in Las Vegas, is organizing this month-long celebration. To celebrate, restaurants will be offering two or more vegan items on their menus. These will appeal to both those who are already vegan or vegetarian and to those who are interested in adapting a plant-based diet.

So far, confirmed restaurants participating include Go Vegan, Panacea, The Pasta Shop Ristorante and Art Gallery, Violette’s Vegan Organic Cafe & Juice Bar, HUMMUS Bowls & Wraps, Hussong’s Cantina, and Pancho’s Kitchen, and there are more to come.

Participants will also donate a portion of the proceeds to charity including a UK-based charity that challenges others to a cruelty-free diet, as well as the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA).

What a great way to start off the New Year 2018! Enjoy great vegan dining and contribute to some noteworthy charities at the same time! And if you are interested in learning more about vegan dining in Las Vegas, “Vegans, Baby” offers a guide to vegan dining in Las Vegas that includes an interactive map, dining directory, and news stories.
