Spring 2018 Beauty Trends That You Have to Know

Spring has arrived and with it comes the latest beauty trends for the season. Here you can learn about the buzzed about beauty looks presented by the major brands on the runway for Spring 2018.

Ocean Blue

Tom Pecheux created a modern minimalist look for Oscar de la Renta with feline delineation and a subtle bluish color on the outside of the eyes. Using the Chromacake pigments of MAC, it really pops up close in person.

The New Ombre Lips

The ombre lips that was all the rage on Instagram, has returned but in a more rock n’ roll version. It’s not only about looking sexy, but very edgy and somewhat dark instead. Inge Grognard applied a Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour from MAC, with the Feels So Grand tone right in the center, and Carnivores at the corners during the runway looks for Helmut Lang.

Bling Bling

Kabuki, the expert makeup artist, presented a really cool look in Jeremy Scott’s latest collection: a combo of W‚àö¬©terweight Foundation and Cream Color Base MAC. The futuristic twist came with a trio of bright applications right under the eyes.

To the Center

The mascara and the outline are limited to be only at the center of your eyes. Dick Page showed off this style for Adam Selman, complementing it with a warm skin tone.

Perfect Skin

Diane Kendal ruled all over this look with a fresh and glowy skin in the Prabal Gurung show. The key was to prepare it with the Prep + Primer Fix, and moisten it with MAC’s Moisture Cream.

Touch of Glow

Want to use a liquid lipstick as a shadow and bronzer? We sure do! Tom Pecheux used Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour in Let’s Rock tone on the dewy skin of the models for Brandon Maxwell show in order to give them a holographic effect.

Classy Cat-Eye

A powerful woman but with an edgy touch was the inspiration for Diane Kendal, who used a fine and plush feather eyeliner from MAC, in order to enlarge the look in Carolina Herrera’s latest show. This was accompanied by glossy lips.

Graphic elements

Yadim created a dark green cat-eye for Jason Wu. The trick was to make it extra thick, only in the corner as if applied with the little finger; to make it more dramatic, they accompany it with completely clean skin and lips.

Pop of Color

On the catwalk for Tracy Reese, the look was eyelids covered in vibrant shades, with nothing else more than fresh and radiant skin.
