And baby makes four! Actors Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale welcomed their second child together.
The 38-year-old Australian actress confirmed the couple was expecting a second baby during an interview with Jones magazine, back in August.
“I’m a little tired but feeling good,” she said to the publication after doing a photo shoot with her brother, George Byrne. “Everyone was very sweet on set today, and you always get a little bit more attention when you’re pregnant, which is fabulous.”
Byrne, who is already mother to 21-month-old son Rocco with the Vinyl actor, was asked whether she thinks her kids will follow their parents, and uncle George, a professional photographer, footsteps into the arts.
“I remember doing the film “The Rage” in Placid Lake years ago with Ben Lee, about the kid who rebelled against his bohemian parents and became an accountant,” she said. “Maybe my kids will want to do something really different, like run a granola company or become accountants themselves.”
Most details remain top-secret as the couple has tried to keep their privacy intact since the announcement of their latest pregnancy, staying away from red carpet and major public events.
Still, Cannavale did post an adorable photo from the duo’s trip to Greece, only months before their new baby’s arrival.
“Santorini,” the Boardwalk Empire alum wrote alongside a picture of him and Rose sharing a kiss in July.
Byrne has opened up in the past about the challenges of motherhood. “You have this huge responsibility you didn’t have before – there’s someone you have to keep alive! I also like to think Rocco has brought out better qualities in me,” Byrne said.
The “X-Men: Apocalypse” star mentioned that she looks to her mother and father for advice, help and support. “I was already becoming my parents, even before I had Rocco,” she said at the time. “You know how that happens? One day, you’re like, ‘I’ve turned into my parents!’”
Bobby also said on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” that “we’re just really, really over the moon.”
In addition to taking care of their kids, Byrne and Cannavale have two successful acting careers. Byrne was recently in the HBO film “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks” with Oprah, and Cannavale will star in the upcoming “Jumanji” reboot, set to open in December. The two of them have also worked together in the past: 2014’s “Annie” and “Adult Beginners”, and 2015’s “Spy.”
