Adela Guerra is a model that is an inspiration to us all. Whereas other girls may not want to help their competition, Adela feels empowered when she lifts up other models around her. And she also believes it is important to believe in yourself no matter what difficult situations you might encounter in life. She is a true role model to us all because she does what she says and cares for others around her!
The feature I get most complimented on is:
My hair and skin.
How did you start believing in your own work and talent?
By working on my craft on a daily basis and showing up for my dreams no matter what. At the age of 19, I was a modeling teacher and I felt empowered by showing other girls how to be the best at what they do. I had to practice what I preached.
My worst habit:
Biting my lips.
I feel sexiest in:
My PJ’s! Also, whenever I’m on the beach.
What is the one thing you do when you’re feeling stuck creatively?
I usually go to the beach for inspiration. Walking in the park and exercising makes a big difference on my creative process too.
What’s one dream you have achieved that you’re most proud and why?
When I received my artist Visa in the USA a few years ago. It was the first time I got to experience that true feeling of accomplishment. Especially when I had to start in another country from zero without any help and support. It was an amazing experience and I discovered myself as a woman and as an artist. Plus, I understood the power of always believing in yourself no matter what conditions you encounter in life.
What is the quality you find most attractive in a man?
Confidence and humbleness.
If you could go back in time, what advice would you give to your teenage self?
I would tell her to sleep less and play more!
