Noodle Lovers Rejoice Because Now There’s vegan, gluten-free, and high-protein pasta!

Most of us love carbohydrates…especially pasta. And there is a reason for this: carbohydrates are your body’s main fuel source. But eating too many carbs can lead to weight gain because carbs are stored as fat if they are not used.  

Food items such as pasta, bread, and rice are things carb-lovers crave! But now you can enjoy the taste and satisfaction of pasta a new way – with healthier pastas made from quinoa, buckwheat, sprouted grain, spelt and brown rice! These are our favorites.


Quinoa Pasta

The part of quinoa that we consume is actually the seed of the quinoa plant. This is why it is gluten-free and naturally low in calories. This pasta tastes pretty close to traditional white flour pasta and can be used in the same manner. Be certain to read the labels as some pastas claim to be quinoa pasta, but have regular white flour mixed in. We love Ancient Harvest quinoa pastas such as elbows for macaroni and shells for manicotti!
