You will miss your destiny if you don’t make hard choices. The wrong people in your life can block your destiny and block all the blessings God has for you.
Negative energy is like a toxic poison. We must make hard and sometimes uncomfortable choices to eliminate the people and things in our lives that are toxic, this also includes WORDS. The words we speak and the words we allow to be spoken around us and in our sacred places will seep into our very existence and those words will have a real effect on our life. We must be opened but we must keep guard.
Negative energy can cause havoc in our lives without us even knowing that it was absorbed, until one day in an ah-ha moment we realize it caused an infection. We don’t even realize how powerful the energy behind words are. I want to keep my space as positive as possible. Even when we allow negative talk in our homes, the places we spend time, our cars..etc…it gets in the paint on the walls and in the fabric of our furniture. It’s poison and we just can’t allow it. We are too important.
Being open is a double edged sword. It’s wonderful to be highly connected to emotions and energy, but it’s also very dangerous and damaging if not carefully monitored and guarded. Our hearts should remain opened but we must protect our sacred places very cautiously.
Don’t allow negative poison in your life. It’s not always easy to separate ourselves from certain people in our lives, but we must make hard choices, uncomfortable choices and important choices if we intend on moving forward in authentic love.
It’s okay to elevate your standards, YOU are worth it. Jesus’ whole message was about elevating ourselves to be everything God created us to be and nothing less.
Speaking of Jesus’ message…I have a little something to say about that…
I see something absolutely beautiful taking shape in the world right now. It’s small but growing. It’s what I’ve felt called to do for a long, long time. It’s the reason I accepted the role of Vegas Jesus, and it’s why I take a daily stand for THE TRUTH as I see it and as I receive it.
What is THE TRUTH as I see it and receive it? I saw a post on Facebook the other day that explained it perfectly!
“Jesus showed up and offered love, understanding, compassion, acceptance, freedom, affirmation and validation, and in his name we managed to create a religion of judgment, disapproval, condemnation, fear, rules, and repression…If that’s not a facepalm, I don’t know what is!”
WOW! Said perfectly!
Over the past thousands of years, Jesus and his message have been used, abused and highjacked by a group of people who decided they would take ownership of something magnificent, something that was meant to be all-inclusive, something that was meant for the world.
The church has basically done the complete opposite of what Jesus came to teach us. But rest assured, there are a growing number of enlightened people who have been called to set the record straight and spread THE MESSAGE as it was intended to be taught.
This is all I’m saying for now. But I’ll leave you with some truth from the man himself…
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come away with me. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”—Jesus
