After the success of their sell-out launch event, No Planet B is ready to return to London with a brand new event September 13th.
The organization has once again reunited an outstanding group of advocates, all of them ready to share their experience and insight about important issues such as the impact of food waste, world consumerism, among others.
No Planet B’s goal is to make sustainable living a social norm. According to their press release, with these monthly events, the organization is looking to “provide a physical social hub for like-minded individuals to come together and learn how to live more eco-conscious lives, whilst having fun!”
The new conscious living event will include ethical stalls, live music, talks about sustainable living and the best plant-based street food.
The market will promote plastic free and ethically conscious alternatives from the buzziest eco-friendly brands in the UK. The organizers’ wish is that people “can leave the event fully equipped to tread lightly on the planet.”
They also recommend that attendees bring their own food containers and bottles in order to enjoy the vegan street food offer, promoting a zero-waste event where the people attending will have the responsibility to “leave no trace behind”.
The event will be held at Core Clapton in North East London. The program includes talks from Saasha Celestial-One, Founder of OLIOex, the company responsible for OLIO, a food sharing app that looks to reduce food waste, and Yasmin Autwal, Founder of the organization Stand For Humanity, with the talk titled “Why Apathy is our biggest threat to change”.
There will also be a panel discussion about the relevance of conscious consumerism, featuring Ashley Emmerson from Beyond Retro Vintage, Julie Ngov, Founder of Adrenna, a sustainable activewear line and Kym from Brixton Food Fiend.
Music will also be part of the event with the presence of one of London’s hottest musician Sam Sure, who will close the event with an acoustic performance.
Tickets start from £11 and are available here. The launch event sold out in only 5 days, so if you wish to attend make sure to get your tickets right now.
