I recently went to visit one of the trendiest, coolest spas in Los Angeles, The Lounge Spa. Complete with red velvet ropes, this spa caters to Hollywood’s elite. Eva Longoria, Brooke Shields, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman, Stephanie Pratt and Niecy Nash have all benefitted from the Lounge Spa’s mobile team, where they come to you.
I walked through the red velvet ropes and sat at the tonic bar. I was given a choice of either a refreshing cold tonic or a specialty herbal tea. Both were complimentary. After changing into a cozy robe, I relaxed in the lounge area and was introduce to Alice Koskas, the owner and creator of The Lounge Spa. She had a warm smile and great vibe. After her proper analysis of my skin, she recommended the Citrus Squeeze Facial. This treatment utilizes high concentrations of Vitamin C, antioxidants and lightening agents to combat the pigmentation and uneveness my skin was having.
I was in nirvana and all I can remember is it was 50 minutes of sheer bliss. Upon finishing my treatment, my skin was baby soft and glowed like a teenager’s.
Afterwards, Alice recommended Murad’s Essential C line to brighten, hydrate and protect my skin. I have slight pigmentation on my cheeks from sun damage so I was keen to try these products. I received Murad’s Essential C Day Moisturizer with an SPF 30, Murad’s SPF 15 eye cream and the Age spot and pigment lightening gel. I know an SPF is absolutely necessary these days, but I’ve always shied away from them. They are usually too sticky, thick and greasy for me. I was surprised that the Murad Essential C Day Moisturizer was none of these. Scout’s honor. Even the eye cream with SPF 15 didn’t sting my eyes which I found to be another unexpected triumph. I’m still using the age spot and pigment lightening gel and was told in 2 weeks I should see a noticeable difference in fading my brown spots, I will keep you posted on any changes. But after using the day moisturizer and eye cream for the past 3 days, I have high hopes.
If you happen to be in the Los Angeles area and want a day of R & R, I highly recommend sweeping past the red velvet ropes into the Lounge Spa
