If you are like us, we had heard of Lithuania before, but didn’t quite know much about its charm or local customs.  Well, we found out that Lithuania is the southernmost Baltic state in Europe.  It borders Poland, Latvia and Belarus, and it is known for its exquisite Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture that dates back to the medieval times!

The capital of Lithuania is Vilnius and the Old Town is a top tourist destination.  Here, enjoy charming cafes, medieval treasures, bars, clubs and so much more!

Palanga is another area of Lithuania that tourists travel to by the thousands.  This is home to one of the most beautiful stretches of beach where sunbathers can spend the afternoon soaking up the Baltic sun!

Kaunas is located where the Nemunas and Neris rivers meet in central Lithuania.  And it is known as a partying capital!  So, if you are into exciting nightlife with dancing, drinking, and more, this is the place for you!

Kernave is a town that is known for its heritage and history. It is regarded as the first medieval capital in Lithuania. Here, you can see relics by the Neris River in addition to historic burial sites, throne rooms, and more that date all the way back to the Paleolithic Period!

Klaipeda is also a great place to explore ancient Lithuania as it boasts an 800-year history.  Here, the ancient world meets a modern city vibe where tourists can experience both thrilling nightlife and history in the same day. Walk down cobblestone streets and visit Klaipeda Castle, then dance the night away in this modern town that boasts premiere dining, night clubs, bars and so much more.

Instead of another Italian vacation or a jaunt off to Paris, why not try a beautiful place like Lithuania? You won’t regret it!
