Q&A with Lisa Vanderpump

What is your favorite way to enjoy your LVP Sangria?

My favorite thing about LVP Sangria is that it’s easy and gorgeous to serve. I like to pour the chilled sangria straight over ice and add fresh fruit and some mint for a nice pop of color. I usually suggest serving our Ros‚àö¬© Sangria with sliced strawberries and raspberries and our Red Sangria with ripe blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries. It’s a really sexy drink that takes very little time to prepare!

During the holiday season, I love to kick it up a notch with some festive holiday cocktails. A splash of Grand Marnier and sprinkled cinnamon in the Red Sangria, or Champagne and a squeeze of lemon in the Pink can make a beautiful holiday treat for your guests.

Your sangrias are rare as they are 100% natural and have no sugar added. Why was this important to you?

LVP Sangria has been a real labor of love. It’s been my recipe in our restaurants for years, so it was important that we got everything right from the design of the bottle to the taste. It was important to us to keep it all-natural and not add any sugar to it .¨ there’s nothing worse than a sangria that tastes synthetic or processed. Ours comes directly from Valencia, Spain and really reflects its true Spanish flavor and roots.

How do you think it affects the taste?

The fact that it doesn’t have added sugar and uses only natural ingredients makes for a much cleaner, more refreshing flavor. It is easy to drink and not overly sweet. All the sweetness you taste comes from the fruits and spices that the Sangrias are infused with. We also made sure to keep the alcohol content quite high (10.5% compared with most sangrias at about 6-8%) so that it definitely has a kick!

THE SAINT VANDERPUMP

This is such a beautiful Champagne cocktail to celebrate with this holiday season. The crisp floral undertones of St. Germain pair so beautifully with the light berry flavors of the Rosé sangria.
