Is an Ayahuasca Retreat Right for You?

An ayahuasca retreat is not your ordinary getaway.

Perhaps you are at a stage in your life when you are asking life’s deeper questions. You might be wondering what is your true meaning and purpose.  You also might be feeling like you don’t really know who you are. After all, we all live by titles to some degree. We are called “mom”, “daughter”, “sister”, and “co-worker”, but who are we really and are we living up to our highest potential?

If you are wondering these questions, you might be ready to experience a beautiful way to find a deeper meaning of inner peace, love and understanding your place in the universe.  An Ayahuasca retreat just might be for you! But, these ceremonies aren’t just for anyone.  They are for people who are seeking a deeper, more meaningful reason for existing on the planet.

If you are asking what are you here on earth for and realize you are not simply here to do a job for the rest of your life, Ayahuasca might help you answer these important questions.

In fact, many who have attended an Ayahuasca retreat have said that it led them to a deeper understanding of the self and an awakening of what they are really supposed to be doing in life.  They were able to harness their greater purpose and therefore were more fulfilled in life.

In an Ayahuasca retreat you will find a sense of peace, joy and freedom.  You will also experience a sense of community and family. Everyone there wants the same thing as you: to grow spiritually and gain a deeper understanding of the self. This common denominator unites everyone at the retreat as you all are reaching for the same goal.

But it is important to know that an Ayahuasca Retreat is not a “quick fix”. Rather, it is a path that can be shown to you.  It is a journey that you choose to take and involves the Ayahuasca plant that originated in the South American Amazon. Local tribes have been using Ayahuasca for literally thousands of years.  They use a combination of two plants: Chacruna (Phychotria viridis, this is a leaf) and Ayahuasca (Banisteriopsis Caapi, this is a vine).  These plants are boiled over a flame to create Ayahuasca tea. This tea is then consumed in a ceremony.

Many believe that this tea can heal you physically, emotionally, spiritually, and psychologically. And that it also helps us to see our place in the Universe.

So, if you are seeking deeper meaning in your life and you are truly serious about it, this experience might be for you. But if you are looking for a “quick fix”, this is not for you.  Remember, an Ayahuasca Retreat is only a “tool” that will help you reach a deeper understanding to the meaning of existence.  You have to come to enlightenment yourself.

What do you think? Is an Ayahuasca Retreat for YOU?
