Autumn Greetings from Shantara’s Soaps

It’s hard to believe the holidays are already around the corner. And I’m certain that affordable Christmas shopping is on everyone’s mind this year. Enter Shantara’s Soaps.

Artisan soap-maker Anita Martin creates holistic, healthy soaps that are absolutely amazing. Anita originally started making soap after she had dairy goats and had an excess of milk. She has been a long time self-professed “holistic health nut” and has been creating her soaps for six years now. What originally attracted me to Anita’s soaps were her yummy scents for the holidays! Scents like Cranberry Plum, Christmas Cookie, Autumn Magic, Orange Clove and Apple Berry are simply a feast for your nose. Apple Berry smells like real apples. And Christmas Cookie, my favorite, smells like cookies straight out of the oven.

All of Shantara’s Soaps are made by hand, from scratch, with either the cold-process or hot-process method using their own goat’s milk, quality vegetable oils, scents, herbs and spices. Anita absolutely never uses any soap bases or melt and pour bases.

Anita also believes in giving back to her community.  She donates soap to New Hope-On-Four Hoofs.  This group uses agility dogs and horses to help grieving children who've lost a parent or a sibling. http://www.newhopeon4hoofs.org/

Anita’s Philosophy:  “To make a great soap at an affordable price using the best ingredients possible, and make it a scentsational luxury that can fit within every budget. I strive to give the very best customer service possible and love to get feedback on my soap and ideas from customers for new soaps. Making soap is a wonderfully creative outlet and I absolutely LOVE doing it!”
