How many times have you been told you’re wearing too much makeup while lying on the beach? For the most part, I am the same way. I like to have my face done and I like to look pretty when I’m at the beach. Not all of us are lucky enough to have strong features that pop on their own – especially blondes who have finer eyebrows and light colored eyelashes. We can always use a little help. But how do you look like a beach bombshell without looking like you are wearing too much makeup?

In the heat, our pores enlarge so it is important that you use primer that will seal your pores. If you are one of the lucky ones who have perfect skin, all you need is a light reflective primer to illuminate your face to give yourself warm undertones (gold, bronze). If not, cream-based makeup works better if it is set correctly. If you use liquid foundation, there is a good chance it will slide right off your face, so be certain to use foundation with a SPF that will protect your face from sunburn. I don’t like to use moisturizer with SPF underneath my makeup unless I plan on not wearing any makeup and am keeping my face bare.

I've always had a huge passion for fashion and glamour, but sometimes felt both could cross an invisible line and become too "cheesy". I wanted to combine the two and create a GUIDE for women who want to become glamourous, smart and classy with a very feminine style. Working in Hollywood for a decade helped me understand what women, and men, find beautiful and attractive. More importantly it helped me gain perspective that everyone can be beautiful and attractive, regardless of what you look like. Ah the magic of Hollywood! Yet, being a model and a beauty specialist were only two avenues of my expertise. With an exceptionally well developed three dimensional vision and a degree in Business, Marketing and Graphic Design, I was on my way to create the world I wanted to live in. Viva Glam Magazine is on a rise to become the one and only guide every woman will ever need. "Stay Beautiful!"
