How to Lightly Contour Your Face to Give It Definition

Candace Kita Shows You How to Lightly Contour Your Face

Contouring is very “in” right now. Especially in the age of Instagram, many women are contouring their cheekbones, temples, jawlines, and foreheads to give themselves more definition in their faces. Giving a deep, strong contour can give you some gorgeous glam. However, some prefer a light contour to provide a little more definition to their look and a little less glam in their daytime looks. Candace Kita is here to show you how to give yourself a light contour for your everyday look.

In this video, Candace uses the Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow palette.

Here’s how to achieve Candace’s look:

First, using a color that is slightly darker than your natural skin tone, brush the color just underneath your cheekbones.

Then, brush the color onto your temples and on the line where your hair meets your forehead.

Finally, use a slightly moistened beauty blender to go through and blend in the contouring so it looks more natural.

There you have it! Now your features are accented. That’s how you can give your face a light amount of definition that you wouldn’t normally have.
