Have You Heard of this Great Color Tip for Hair Extensions?

Hairstylist-to-the-stars, Angelica Curiel, has a tip for us on coloring hair extensions!

How many times have you found your hair extensions no longer matching your hair because your roots have grown out? Often you don’t have time to get to a salon to get your roots done. You also might not want the additional costs of purchasing new extensions. And let’s face it, hair extensions and your hair color just don’t look right unless they are maintained. The last thing you want is for your hair to look shabby, messy and unkempt. Remember, your hair is your best accessory. So it is wise to keep it looking its best at all times because people will be judging you on it whether you realize it or not. Whether you are in a professional atmosphere or going on a first date, take the time to make certain your hair looks its best!

So if you just simply don’t have time to run into the salon, don’t worry because hairstylist-to-the-stars, Angelica Curiel, has a great color tip for you!

First, get a temporary gray root cover up at your local drug store. Purchase a color that is close to your own color. Spray the roots of your hair extensions with the hair color or brush it on by dabbing it onto the roots.

After it dries, you can add the hair extensions to your head, you’ll have an added touch of color! Your friends and family will think you’ve just stepped out of the salon with a new do! This look is also on trend now with ombre colors of hair, so don’t be afraid to extend the color down from the roots two to four inches.

Summer is the ideal season for coloring your hair extensions for a little extra hint of pizazz!
