Meet Zach Veach…. the youngest Indy Lights driver for Andretti Auto Sport. At only 21 years of age this young man has great accomplishments and a big endorsement behind him. The prestigious Andretti Auto Sport team. Andretti Auto sport is an auto racing tem that competes in the Indy car Series, Indy Lights, Pro Mazda Championships, Global Rally Cross, and the FIA Formula E Championship.
Growing up in Stockdale, Ohio he started out with racing go-karts and a dream in his heart. At the age of only 15, his dream turned into reality as the youngest driver offered a spot on the Andretti Auto sport team. He won USF2000 Winterfest Championship in 2011 and the Formula Car Challenge Championship in 2012. Named to CNN’s list of “Intriguing People” and picked as next Athlete in Motorsports by ESPN Magazine, check out what he had to say.
Along with racing this young man can write. At the age of sixteen Zach authored his very first book “99 Things Teens Wish They Knew before Turning 16”. An inspiration to the young and old alike, Zach’s dedication, hard work and discipline has landed him some great opportunities. And, he is all about giving back and mentoring any way he can to inspire the youth.
It was fun spending time with Zach and his family at the racetrack. He was kind enough the day before I left Indianapolis, to give me a private tour of Andretti Auto sport headquarters.
