Solange-Azagury Partridge
There are so many billboards cluttering the streets of Los Angeles, that it took almost three weeks before I fully realized the alluring Solange-Azagury Partridge billboard along Sunset. Convinced that I was dreaming, I didn’t believe that a store was actually opening up here in Beverly Hills!
I even missed the opening celebration! Needless to say, I am huge fan of Solange. I instantly adored her brand when a friend and fellow jeweler of mine showed me her website. Personally, I refer to Solange as the modern (and female) Andy Warhol of jewelry. Her work truly speaks for itself and lucky for us, it’s wearable!

SAP collections are vast and varied, but all carrying distinct similarities, keeping them all relative to each other. Simple shapes juxtaposed with much more ornate designs, bright colors and a general optimistic air are some key attributes to look for in her jewelry. SAP hails back to tradition and nods at pop culture while being cutting edge and cheeky, not to mention the impeccable craftsmanship and exuding all around glamour!
“Tough Love” is SAP’s love collection – featuring rings intended for proposals, weddings and whatever your big heart desires (even as a gift to yourself)! Keeping to the brand, these rings are not what you would expect from a traditional wedding collection, but are far more than covetous. They range from bands with literal gold carrots on top to a glamorous, double layered diamond set.
“Offering” is a very eye-catching, yet simple, piece and features two small hands holding the singular large diamond in the center, as opposed to a traditional setting that we see on women’s fingers daily. This collection also includes sparkling ruby or diamond lips, an exquisite band of diamonds that turn into three stars around the larger stone in the center, and one of my favorites, “Till Death Do Us Part”. This ring is largely asexual and is simple; a much more modest diamond set in the middle of tiny silver bones that wrap around a finger.

Please take a look at the photos provided, a browse on the website and better yet, take yourself on a trip to Rodeo Drive and directly to Solange-Azugary Partridge. The storefront is riveting and hard to miss, not to mention that it even won store design of the City of Beverly Hills Architectural Awards! There is nothing like seeing all the pieces in person!
Solange somehow meshes everything that is loud and prevalent in our generation’s pop culture into her jewelry. Bright, even neon, colors, sparkling stones, shiny and matte finishes, rainbows, stars, lips, animals and all other sorts of iconic imagery, innovative, yet trendy, design and a call to the cosmos. SAP believes that “jewellery has an aura” and I most certainly agree with her, especially if it was intentionally made to do so! Now that you know all about Solange, be the first of your friends to visit her store, grab some of her beautiful adornments and get glamorous!
