DIY Free People Baby Doll Dress

In today’s video I will show you how to turn an old skirt into a fabulous new dress! I found this skirt at Ross for $7 a few months back and like a lot of things in my closet it slowly got shuffled to the back. After spending the weekend window shopping, I was quickly inspired to rush back home to pull the once loved skirt onto my craft table. Follow along as I walk you through 3 easy steps, in this beginner level fashion design tutorial! Repurposing or redesigning old clothes can be so much fun with a few DIY tips &tricks. This dress was inspired by an adorable baby doll dress from one of  my favorite clothing lines, “Free People!”



Materials needed:

Flowy skirt with elastic waist band, scissors, needle/thread or sewing machine
